Volkswagen is set to launch a heroic new campaign to introduce the new Touran and Sharan MPVs into the UK.
Based around the concept that modern parents are everyday heroes, capable of juggling work and the demands of family life while retaining the ability to cobble together a scale model of HMS Invincible from nothing but a lump of plasticine and a fork, the campaign introduces a suitably heroic pair of seven-seat vehicles in the shape of the new Touran and Sharan which are designed to meet their needs. Volkswagen, Europe’s largest carmaker, is making motoring cleaner: with the launch of every new Volkswagen model, fuel consumption and emissions are falling further. The latest example of this sustainability offensive is the new Touran. Germany’s best-selling MPV is now up to 27% more fuel-efficient – thanks to engine downsizing, innovative technologies and aerodynamic perfection. Natural gas MPV can now travel up to 670 kilometres on one tankIn the Touran TSI EcoFuel, travelling 100 kilometres costs around €4.50The multi-variable Touran TSI EcoFuel is a real crowd pleaser and belongs currently to Germany’s best-selling vehicle in its class. The latest version is now available to buy with an improved fuel range. Thanks to an increased fuel tank capacity and improved efficiency, the vehicle, fitted with a quasi-monovalent drive train, will cover up to 670 kilometres.
