While we were searching the NADAguides, I came across this road test on the 2008 Volkswagen Touareg 2 V10 TDI Twin Turbo. It is a bit brief but overall a very positive one.

The VW Touareg is like a never-ending surprise party, where you have a smile on your face the entire time.

I will be honest here, when I knew I was getting this car (especially after turning in the keys to the Audi S5) I did not think I would be in for much. I approached this 2008 Volkswagen Touareg 2 with low expectation. We’re talking Beverly Hills Chihuahua low expectations here.

That Touareg was a blast to drive around... I still think about it as other cars come in.I slated some time early next year for the 2009 Jetta TDI, green car of the year. Keep an eye out for that sometime in February if you are interested...
