The crew over at Racinboys had a nice segment with Mark Pombo about his win and the race itself. There has been a good amount of talk regarding the “banging” that went on during that race. Mark gives us a good insight to this, its effects but more importantly, the drivers have to pay for the damage/repairs.

The inaugural SCCA Pro Racing Volkswagen Jetta TDI race, Performance Driving Experience and the upcoming Sunburn Grand Prix at Texas World Speedway lead the topics for the April 30th Web cast of Shifting Gears at 8 p.m. (EDT) on RacinBoys.com.
Shifting Gears will welcome Mark Pombo, winner of the very first Jetta TDI Cup race at VIRginia International Raceway to the program, as well as St. Louis Region’s Jan Rick to discuss SCCA’s Performance Driving Experience, more commonly known as PDX. Hosts Burr, Wheelman and Dusty will also take a fast lap at Texas World Speedway as described by Texas Region RE and Spec Miata driver Tim Evans.
