The internationally successful cabriolet coupé has been technically perfected, visually updated – front and rear – and refined with numerous new features. There was a good reason for choosing California as the location for its auto show debut: America is the sales region with the highest volume for the four-seater. Volkswagen of America will take the new Eos to the streets at the end of March; in Europe – the second strongest sales region for the Eos – market launch is scheduled for mid-January. The Golf GTI’s well-known TSI engine with 2.0-litre displacement and 155 kW / 210 PS is now also available for the Scirocco and Eos. The greatest advantage: the engine, which replaces the previous top class engine, the 2.0 TSI (147 kW / 200 PS), reduces fuel consumption by up to nine percent. Published May 28, 2009 in Eos. The Volkswagen Eos is very nice form the start but when it steps a bit into the “custom” arena, it really comes together. We can do without the name but the strong black accents and a lowered stance is perfect!
The new Eos White Night embraces the contrast of black and white: the body is white, while elements such as the roof, radiator grille and mirror covers are black. This special model can be ordered starting now.
