Products from Black Forest Industries were recently used to aid in the achievement of the fastest quarter-mile drag time from a FWD Volkswagen car in North America. A time of 9.19 seconds at 162mph was recorded run by a 2.0-liter 20v Mk III drag car pushing 750whp.
Says the driver and team owner, ‘we are using the [BFI] delrin rear motor mount and tranny mount and they keep our motor in place with zero issues. Last year we ran the front one as well with the same results.’
