Autocar drives the new Skoda Yeti 2.0 TDI 140 and gives it a strong 3.5/5 stars.

The Skoda Yeti takes established VW hardware and pieces them together cleverly to present a well engineered, practical car with a mix of abilities to address a variety of customer needs. While Skoda may not have aimed the Yeti at the enthusiast, by giving its controls an accuracy and honesty it has made a car that is good to drive.

    We have to disagree there. Yeti is an excellent name and works perfectly with the attributes of the vehicle(s).

    Looks like a decent car but ‘Yeti’ is already appearing on Stupid Car Names lists alongside the Honda Life Dunk and Daihatsu Charade. No one is going to want to explain to their friends that they chose a car called the abominable snowman
