Today, Lamborghini pulled the curtain on its new successor to the original Gallardo Superleggera. This neon green beast sports a direct-injected 5.2-liter V10 hitting 570hp. It also sheds some 70 kilograms (154 lb) over the LP 560-4 and hits 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.4 seconds while reaching a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph). Lamborghini has even thought about the little things like beautifully designed 19″ wheels that drop 28lbs off of each corner. Pirelli even developed a new P Zero Corsa specifically for the LP 570-4. Take this combo and mount them up with titanium wheel bolts and your AWD will love ya but the asphalt will not. Press release and gallery after the jump.

Even more dynamic, lighter, more powerful and stunning – the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera is the new top model in the Gallardo line-up. Its evocative “superlight” badge refers to a driving machine of true sporting character and describes a high-performance and lean automotive athlete. The Superleggera makes its entrance to continue the success of its predecessor, launched in 2007, of which Lamborghini produced and sold no less than 618 in just one year.
