From the autumn, Exeo’s distinctive design will be further enhanced and the powerful TDI engines become even more efficient. The new upgrade adds even more appeal to the sporty, comfortable Exeo and the spaciously dynamic Exeo ST. All diesel versions benefit from a decrease in CO2 emissions of around 7 grams per km – resulting in a CO2 figure of 129 grams per kilometer (Exeo ST, 132 g/km), making the Exeo one of the most efficient, low-emission vehicles in its class. Once again, SEAT will be the official car of the Rally RACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada, the eleventh round of the World Rally Championship being held from 1 to 4 October on roads in the province of Tarragona. SEAT has been actively collaborating with the organization for the last 18 years since the rally became a competition on the WRC schedule. This year, SEAT is providing race organizer RACC with 86 cars to assist with the coordination of the race.

Now there are two new engines available on the SEAT Exeo and ST range – the 200 hp 2.0 TSI with automatic sequential Multitronic gearbox and steering wheel shift paddles, and the 120 hp 2.0 TDI CR, which is the new entry-level Diesel variant.

JE Design Seat Exeo ST sketchTuners JE Design will unveil their Seat Exeo Sport Tourer and the Seat Leon FR/Cupra over the weekend. The introduction will be a part of an event revolving around the Spanish automaker, being held at the Technik Museum in Speyer, Germany.
The Exeo ST is somewhat of a follow-up for the design firm; JE Design released a tuning kit for the Exeo sedan back in April. That project intended to make the ‘middle class limousine’ more like ‘a sports car with four doors.’

No less than four SEAT models can be found in the leading positions of the Company Car 2009 list after a thorough evaluation made by 150 fleet car managers of the German trade publication ‘Firmenauto’ and the prestigious DEKRA vehicle inspection experts. The new Exeo ST was the brilliant winner in its category, while the judges considered it third in the general classification. In addition, the Altea XL took second place among the compact vans, the Ibiza came in second in the small imported car category, and the León was third in the compact car division.
