Another excellent results for Audi this weekend, this time in the Italian GT. After claiming a 1-2 in qualifying agaijst the Lamborghini’s, Audi Sport Italy went on to score a 1-2 in the season opener in Vallelunga. The team of Marco Bonanomi and Andrea Sonvico would lead the no33 Audi R8 LMS GT3 across the line ahead of Dindo Capello and Andrea Cicognani in the no32.
Third in GT3 would go to AutOrlando Sport and their Porsche 997 GT3 R. Autorlando Sport also have a car racing in the new Blancpain Endurance Series this weekend.
In the true Italian battle, Team Imperiale would finish first in the no150 Lamborghini Gallardo GTC class. Giorgio Sanna and Davide Stancheris easily crossed the line ahead of the Ferrari 430 of Matteo Malucelli and Flavio Pierleoni.
