Tom Kristensen escaped from a monster crash in the DTM opener at Hockenheim with lots of pain, but nothing broken.
The Dane was hit by team mate Alex Prémat after an accident straight after Turn 2: “I can remember small fragments from the first lap. I was fighting for position, but was left without room by me team mate Tino Scheider. I was squeezed towards the side and had to ride the curbs, because I didn’t want to push back on Timo. The car spun and I suddenly was on middle of the track. I remember smoke from the tires – then nothing.”
