The Audi R8 LMS did not fair to well last weekend in all series. We also know Marcel Tiemann was complaining about the shifting within the R8 LMS and that it needs to be addressed. Either way he was able to put the Phoenix Racing R8 into fifth during qualifying for race 2.

The German Audi customer team Phoenix Racing with drivers Marcel Tiemann and Jim Matthews took fifth place in the GTS class in Sunday’s race in the International GT Open at the Nürburgring. At the home round of the team based in the Eifel region the German-American pairing saw the checkered flag in sixth place on Saturday.
