We are now down to the last two races of the 2007 DTM series. Even though Audi leads the Team classification by 22.5pts and Ekstrom leads Tomczyk by 4pts and then Spengler by 10pts.
In either race, it s not sewn up by any means!
Today qualifying didn’t go so well for all but Tomczyk who qualified first! Testing showed Audi was right there with a range of cars/drivers. In the end testing/practice is NOT the same as qualifying.
The bad news is, Mercedes-AMG follows in 2-6 and 9th. Guess whose in 10th…? Mattias Ekstrom. Wonderful >:( and Tom Kristensen is in 11th.
