From their appearance last year as part of the Belgian Touring Car Series, the VW Scirocco W Racing Team had played the title in the T3 category, the duo-Smits Latinne not bowing as a twist of fate. This year will be joined by Ronnie Latinne Koen Wauters and two pilots dream of a podium – or even win – from the kick-off this weekend at Zolder.
“The goal is the title in the category T3 and some nice performance overall,” says Ronnie Latinne outset, one of the revelations of the 2010 season. The young Wanzois, narrowly defeated last year when he was joined by Jean-Jacques Smits, receives this year reinforcing Koen Wauters, the leader of Dutch Clouseau who constantly demonstrate their skills behind the wheel. For me, having Koen as teammate is a good thing. On the one hand because of a media point of view, it is inevitable, but mainly because it is a very fast driver. From his first laps with the car, he proved that he does not need very long to understand how it works. I also noticed that it already has a sense of teamwork. He knows that we must help each other and we can look forward to our achievements. Our only goal is victory! But with the board announced, the fight looks very intense and I hope we can garner points from the first meeting in Zolder.

If the car of Ronnie and Koen Wauters Latinne officially receives support from the importer Volkswagen, VW Scirocco will be a second line for Jean-Jacques Smits and the French Claude-Yves Gosselin, who flew both Already a Scirocco W Racing Team last year.
