Porsche Works Council Stands behind Wiedeking

Misinterpretation of a TV Statement

The Chairman of the Group Works Council of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG and deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Porsche Automobil Holding SE, Uwe Hück, rejects reports from the media that he is distancing himself from Porsche CEO Dr. Wendelin Wiedeking. Hück: ‘This is a malicious misinterpretation of a statement I made in a TV interview. I said that we first had to take care of the laying out of the integrated car manufacturing group we are endeavoring in the current negotiations with our Wolfsburg Works Council colleagues and would then discuss the corresponding placement of personnel.’ Hück continues: ‘The workforce, the works council and I all stand behind both board members of Porsche SE, Dr. Wendelin Wiedeking and Holger Härter. I emphasized this today at the works meetings in Stuttgart and Weissach’, clarifies the Porsche Works Council Chairman.
