Porsche Parade through Atlanta to see the Type 64 at the Allure of the Automobile

I have no idea how we missed this… aside from being focused on the 12 Hours of Sebring race. Luckily, JF Musial has camera in hand and we’re there. Big disappointment was missing the parade is the first 2010 GT3 RS in the United States.

Over 100 Porsches parade through the city streets of Atlanta to the Allure of the Automobile exhibit at the High Museum of Art. The event brings out Porsche’s biggest star, the Type 64 – the car that started it all for the company. On hand for the event is the CEO of Porsche Cars of North America, Detlev von Platen. Also included in the parade is the first 2010 GT3 RS in the United States.

Sebring wasn’t the only place where Porsche’s ran wild last weekend, as Atlanta had its fair share of them too. 150 of them in fact, were led by police escort through downtown Atlanta on their way to High Museum of Art where the Porsche Type 64 is the jewel of the Allure of the Automobile display.

If there are two Porsche events a few hours away from each other, JF Musial is bound to be on hand for both, making magic with his camera.
