Fleet managers rank Porsche number 1 yet again
The sporty Porsche Cayenne Diesel SUV is the “2010 company car of the year” in the off-road/SUV category. Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, also won the award in 2009. It is sponsored by the magazine Firmenauto and the expert organization DEKRA.
The jury is made up of 150 fleet managers who select the award winner. The experts test a total of 55 vehicle models in nine categories. In addition to driving behavior and comfort, the jury also looks at vehicle efficiency. This is where the diesel version of the Cayenne was able to score extra points. “The Cayenne diesel is compelling proof that exclusive company cars can also meet high fuel efficiency standards without having to compromise on drive performance, sportiness, and comfort. Our Porsche principle of intelligent performance is responsible for this consistent alignment of efficiency and performance,” explained Porsche Board Member for Sales and Marketing Bernhard Maier.
