Christian “Toto” Wolff nails Nurburgring record but loses a bit more in the end

I was looking for some info on today’s DMV 4-Stunden-Rennen from the Nurburgring and came across this news. A few days ago Toto Wolff went for the record on the “Green Hell”. He crushed it by 4min with a 7:03.2 but on the second attempt, entering the Foxhole his right-rear tire blew out. At the time of impact he was traveling at 268 km/h or 165mph. Yeow! He walked away with a concussion, bruises and a bit more but is at home, resting!

Aside from the crash, the onboard video is beautiful!
