
Porsche factory pilot Patrick Long (USA) qualified the sister 911 GT3 RSR fielded by the Felbermayr outfit on sixth position. Long shares the cockpit with Martin Ragginger (Austria) and team owner Christian Ried (Germany). At their first race together in Le Castellet, the trio managed an excellent second place. “We are totally pleased,” summarized Long. “Our Porsche is reliable, it has perfect balance and is highly efficient. What more do you want?”
Television station Eurosport broadcasts the race on May 11th live from 11.15 to 12.00 hours and from 14.00 to 15.00 hours as well as the final phase on a delayed basis from 17.30 to 18.00 hours. A one-hour recap will be televised from 23.00 hours.
