Each year we get fan requests to sell our team crew shirts – and now it has become one of the events that mark the season end. In 2009, we created and wore a black polo-style shirt that once again, was the centerpiece of our team uniform. Similar to crew shirts of previous years, these were with us for each and every U.S.-based race as our standard issue. They also traveled to France for the 24 Heures du Mans.

Each of these original shirts has a story to tell and if they could only talk, one might tell of the mechanics having to brave the three-plus inches of water that washed through the paddock late on Friday after a torrential downpour at Lime Rock..was that really the makings of a tornado that we saw over the hill? Or perhaps the baseball-sized mounds of salt that were placed in our paddock at Laguna in the dead of night by some unknown team – I’m sure it was meant to be a token of good luck..
