DTM: Martin Tomczyk wins Nurburgring DTM round

For the fourth time in his career, Martin Tomczyk (Audi) has won a DTM race. After 48 laps at the Nürburgring, the German crossed the finish line with his Audi A4 DTM as the winner, ahead of his fellow Audi drivers Timo Scheider and Mattias Ekström. The Audi triumph in the Eifel was completed by Markus Winkelhock, who drove his year-old Audi to fourth place. In the sixth round of the season, Jamie Green was the best-placed Mercedes-Benz driver in fifth place. Bruno Spengler, Ralf Schumacher and Gary Paffett (all Mercedes-Benz) completed the point-scoring positions in sixth to eighth place. New points leader is Timo Scheider (35 points). Mattias Ekström is one point down in second place, Gary Paffett is third with 29 points.
