GW:plus/Top Service Audi A4 DTM #1 (Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline), Timo Scheider
The result of warm-up on Sunday morning mirrored the performance that the drivers of Audi and Mercedes-Benz showed on the day before. Once again, the first four places were locked out by the drivers of the Abt Sportsline team. With a fastest lap time of 1:22.705 minutes, Timo Scheider topped the time sheets on Sunday morning with his Audi A4 DTM. Like in qualifying, the fastest AMG Mercedes C-Class was driven by Bruno Spengler. Eventually, the Franco-Canadian was 0.990 second short of Scheider’s fastest time.

In Scheider’s slipstream, pole-sitter Tom Kristensen, Martin Tomczyk and Mattias occupied second to fourth place. Oliver Jarvis drove the fastest year-old Audi into fifth place, just like on the day before.
The fifth season round at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben will start at 14.00 h. ARD will be broadcasting the 48 lap race live from 13.45 h.
