Daniel Abt (Kempten) and Klaus Bachler (A) justified their positions as favourites after wins in the first two races of the season at the ADAC Formula Masters opener at Oschersleben.
Daniel Abt planted his Formula ADAC powered by Volkswagen twice on pole position, won the first race from his front row slot and was second in race two. This gives the young driver from Kempten a clear lead. Klaus Bachler finished fourth in the race on Easter Sunday before tasting victory on Easter Monday. In race one the remaining podium positions went to Adrian Campfield (GB) and Rene Binder (A) in second and third, in race two Kevin Friesacher (A) was third behind the race one winner.
