It’s so true about The Stig, it is one of the key elements to Top Gear. It’s too important to loose that, especially on the first show of a new series.
Rumor has it that there are many Stig’s, depending on what is required. Think that Jenson Button played him at one point.
Although chances are that it was Schumacher in the FXX, it was probably his!

I’m not getting into the whole who is faster and under what conditions but I very much doubt there is any truth in this at all.

The mystery behind the identity of The Stig has been around for years, why would Top Gear go and kill it off. Once they have unmasked The Stig there is no need for the full face helmet which means you loose the image. It will kill the character.

Besides look at what they tried to say. Michael Schumacher is The Stig. We are talking multi millionaire ex-F1 world champion was spending his spare time driving cars round a old airfield. Yes he might have done the odd race for them but as good as Top Gear is they could get him on the pay role full time, let alone keep his movements quiet this long.
Add to this all of Schumachers other commitments it’s a little bit far fetched.

Expect to see ‘the real’ on Stig next week’s show, maybe again the week after.

Schumacher slower than Hamilton in the wet, doubt it. Not real. I’m not buying it.
