Check it out! Porsche launched their new cinema and it’s full of great videos! It may be in German but that won’t stop ya from drooling over your keyboard
I love the old footage from the Le Mans track in 1977. I was 6 at that time and have a fond memory of the Martini branded livery! I even had some R/C cars with it.
Enjoy! Porsche Web Cinema
Stuttgart. Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG of Stuttgart, Germany, has a new, interactive application that enables sports-car fans to view official Porsche films from their computers via the company website – there is even a large-screen display option.
Porsche Web-Cinema pools all the films about current Porsche models, technology and development. Even the prize-winning films “True to yourself” about the Porsche Cayman S and “No” about the 911 Carrera 4/4S, which were presented with the Golden Camera Award in Hollywood, can be watched on the computer.
There are also reports from motor-sport events, for example from the entire American Le Mans Series and the Transsyberia Rally, and narratives about Porsche history available for download.
One of the Web-Cinema highlights is a film recorded from a car on the Le Mans track in 1977. Users can even compile a customized cinema schedule from the select ion on offer. Porsche Web-Cinema also includes an archive with the engine sounds and music of the Porsche web specials.
