The Golf with a certain rotation was as a special single piece of Volkswagen apprentices built
The GTI Street looks great on the road. Four young apprentices at Volkswagen in Wolfsburg have in just three months ago a very special Golf VI created. His name makes it with special equipment and services all honor. It ranges from a 2.0-liter turbo FSI engine and 301 hp peak power up to an extraordinary degree with the gear turning, a coilover suspension with hydraulic height adjustment. It is the only of its kind in a VW Golf GTI.
Other features are the sports exhaust with two oval tailpipes, the 19-inch wheels to 225 mm and the tire from the R32 derived brakes. Carefully chosen details complete the picture of the GTI Street, for example, the holes of the GTI-letters in the brake discs. Visually, the GTI Street with 6-speed manual transmission both inside and outside completely in black and white.
Beginning in March 2009 began the Wolfsburger automotive mechatronics, apprentices Stefan Becker, 22, Mehmet Cosgun, 20, Saskia Mueller, 20, and Michael Riefenberg, 19, with the work and painted in a semi GTI. Together they are considered a draft of the Gulf, reviewed the feasibility of ideas, organized the parts and completed vehicles. Hosted they were from the trainers and Detlef Weiner Sascha Spitzer who has experience with special vehicle projects. Training Wolfsburg offers powerful apprentices for years the possibility of its expertise in vehicle projects to expand. The skills of the trainees showed a much-respected individual models like the GTI or the performance Caddy Speed, which now enters the GTI Street. Its premiere is experiencing the particular individual pieces at GTI Meeting at Wörthersee.
