Just in time for holiday shopping the Austin Hatcher Foundation for a carefree childhood announces a partnership with the Tallahassee, Florida based Screaming Tomato Images. Screaming Tomato Images LLC has recently published the Barber Collection of rare and unique Vintage motorsports photographs in a calendar. The color images contained in this collection include photographs taken at the famous Sebring International Raceway, Sebring Florida, during the 1950′s. Pete and Bonnie Barber captured the images during their annual trip to the 12 Hours of Sebring. These images serve as a historic representation of this great event and its competitors.
The 2009 calendar will make the perfect stocking stuffer for any motorsports enthusiast. Individual images will also be available for purchase by early 2009. In the Barber’s honor, 10% of the company’s profits are donated to the Sebring Museum Fund and 20% of profits are donated to the Austin Hatcher Foundation. After reading the story of Austin Hatcher “Hatch” Osborn, Ian Barber, Screaming Tomato Image’s owner felt a connection to the Foundation. My mother passed away from cancer when I was only 7 years old. To see an adult go through cancer treatment made me realize how fortunate we are to have good health. To think of a child going through what I have watched family members and friends deal with, made the decision to support the Foundation a no-brainer.
