Edmunds.com automotive editor James Riswick shot this video from the 2008 LA Auto Show. Chrysler’s booth has had it’s lights out during the event. Really they are utilizing the convention centers ceiling lights. Just next door, both Audi and Volkswagen are bright enough to “perform surgery”!

The upgrades start on the outside of the Tiguan Performance with a complete body styling and fender flare kit, spoiler, side steps and a custom two-tone paint job. Not to be shown up by the new interior the performance level has been raised in this already hot compact SUV. The 2.0L TSI four-cylinder engine is now breathing through an APR Stage 3 Turbo Kit, and is rated at scorching 295 hp and 300 lbs. ft. of torque, coupled with the 6-speed Tiptronic® automatic. Powerful performance meets luxury in the Super CC performance concept Volkswagen unveiled at the 2008 SEMA show in Las Vegas.
The Performance CC brings a sleek exterior treatment highlighted by black chrome exterior accents, grey pearl paint with custom front and rear bumper, side panels and machined aluminum spoiler. The black treatment continues inside with high-gloss piano black accents offset by matte black graphics. Customer black leather Recaro seats and matching floor mats are highlighted with white piping. At the Paris Motor Show (October 2-10, 2008), Audi is unveiling the A1 Sportback concept study: following on from the Audi A1 project quattro, the three-door show car presented in 2007, this is a concept for a five-door four-seater for the sub-compact class – once again exhibiting all the characteristics of a genuine Audi. The 3.99-meter long (13.09 ft) and 1.75-meter wide (5.74 ft) vehicle combines cutting-edge, dynamic styling with optimum economy of space and supreme quality.
