  • Audi placed on eight of the past ten “10 Best Engines” lists
  • Audi is the first car company in the USA to sell 100% of its gasoline engines with (FSI) direct injection

Audi earned top honors for two engines on the respected “10 Best Engines” list from the editor of Ward’s AutoWorld.

Both the turbocharged four-cylinder 2.0 TFSI engine with the A4, and supercharged six cylinder 3.0 TFSI engine for the sporty upgrade S4 model impressed the Ward’s editors. “This year’s list embodies how the industry is responding to demands for higher fuel economy and lower emissions without shortchanging performance,” Ward’s AutoWorld Editor-in-Chief Drew Winter said. “Auto makers are using innovative designs and advanced technology to boost horsepower and torque while downsizing engines and increasing efficiency.” Continue reading ‘Two Audi FSI engines make Ward’s “10 Best Engines” list for 2010′

Is Audi killing off the incredible RS4

We haven’t found anymore info to back this up but to kill off a great car and BMW M3 killer?

Is Audi killing off the incredible RS4

When we saw this news on the web we said that it isn’t true and we contacted our source from Ingolstadt to tell us something that could dismiss those reports… Unfortunately there were true… Audi killed the plans for a RS4 successor due to poor sales. And this is not the only bad news: the German manufacturer also dropped the A4 and S4 convertible… It appears that these moves came because Audi wants to focus on hybrids and environmentally friendly vehicles. So, of you want a sports sedan, you will have to choose the 2010 Audi S4!
