After a seven-week break, the American Le Mans Series continues in the middle of July with back-to-back races: At Lime Rock (Connecticut) and Mid-Ohio (Ohio) the world’s fastest sportscar contest two races within eight days on 12 and 19 July.

Dindo Capello will return to the American Le Mans Series with the two-time LMP1 champion teaming with fellow Italian Emanuele Pirro at Lime Rock Park for next week’s American Le Mans Northeast Grand Prix. At one of the most exciting and fastest races in Le Mans history, AUDI AG clinched another triumph at what is arguably the world’s toughest motor race.

Hot off his second victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans – and first since 1998 – three-time American Le Mans Series champion Allan McNish will be a guest on XM’s Powershift program at 9:25 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 19. McNish won at Le Mans for the first time with Audi and took a 4:31 victory with Dindo Capello and Tom Kristensen as the diesel-powered Audi R10 TDI won the world’s greatest race for the third year in a row.
