Together, Audi and Volkswagen are providing more than 270 vehicles so that delegates can reach the World Economic Forum in Davos quickly and safely.
With an average fuel consumption of 8.5 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers (27.67 US mpg) and CO2 emissions of 224 grams per kilometer (360.49 g/mile), the 86 Audi A8L 3.0 TDI sedans being used to provide comfortable chauffeur service for the more than 500 VIPs are a particular highlight. The new Audi A8 and Audi e-tron electric concept car are on display in the mobile Audi Terminal at Lake Davos.

NVIDIA and Audi are harnessing this potential with the Audi third-generation multimedia interface, or 3G MMI, which employs a leading-edge NVIDIA graphics processor to better provide key data and media that drivers demand on their journeys. Audi will continue to invest heavily in new products and forward-looking technologies in the future: plans for 2009 through 2012 envisage total investments of 7.3 billion euros for fixed assets.
In coming years the Audi Group will continue to invest strongly in its future. Approximately 5.9 billion euros, in other words about 80 percent of its total investment in fixed assets, will be devoted to new product development, further optimization of conventional drivelines and the development of electric and hybrid models.
