SEAT has been racking the awards up of late.
For the second consecutive time, the SEAT Altea has been singled out by the German vehicle certification body DEKRA, which has just published a study on the most reliable models on the market in a total of seven categories.
- The Spanish model is the winner in the MPV category
- Second-time winner of Europe’s most extensive test
- The Altea confirms its superiority in the compact monospace segment
The DEKRA study, Europe’s most significant test involving the highest number of vehicles, analysed car reliability in three broad mileage ranges – 0 – 50,000 km; 50,000 -100,000 km; and 100,000 -150,000 km. The SEAT Altea finished first in the MPV category in the 50,000 to 100,000 km mileage range, ahead of the Ford C-Max and the VW Touran.
This exceptional result demonstrates the Spanish brand’s leadership in its segment, as a result of its attractive model line-up with engines ranging from the 85 hp to 200 hp petrol and 105 hp to 170 hp Diesel units.
