Consisting of a TDI (turbo-diesel), electric motor and 7-speed DSG as well as a Cd value: 0.237, Volkswagen is driving CO2 emissions down to a sensational 65 g/km.

Today, at a press conference at the Los Angeles Auto Show, Porsche — a company known for creating light and highly efficient and desirable sports cars — took the wraps off one of its most nimble and sportiest mid-engine cars ever: the 2011 Boxster Spyder.
This new mid-engine Porsche represents the purist form of the roadster sports car, meaning it is agile, powerful, open and efficient. Weighing only 2,811 lbs. and delivering 320 horsepower, it goes on sale in February 2010 and will join the Boxster and Boxster S that made their world debut here last year. What was revealed at the climax of Bugatti’s centenary celebrations in September at its headquarters in Molsheim, was today presented to customers and opinion-makers in Los Angeles: the Bugatti 16C Galibier concept – designed as the most exclusive, elegant, and powerful four-door automobile in the world. At the prestigious Ace Gallery in Beverly Hills, Bugatti’s Director of Sales, Marketing and After Sales, Alasdair Stewart, emphasised that the Galibier is just one of several concept studies that the company is considering for the future of the Bugatti marque. Autumn is coming. You can feel it. The crispness in the air and darkness encroaching into early evenings are signals of the end of the summer show season. And with this end comes that weekend on the calendar reserved for H20 International (H20i) in Ocean City, Maryland.
It’s hard to believe H20i has been going strong for twelve years, but it has. Year after year of consistency in beautiful and car show-friendly Ocean City have helped the event become one of the biggest in the American enthusiast scene and H20i remains quite unique.
