LM P1 Audi sets the pace
The No.2 Audi R10, driven by Capello leads after the first hour of the 75th Edition of the Le Mans 24. At the green light, the Italian was right up behind the Peugeot 908, and made the most of a slight diver error by Bourdais while entering the Dunlop Chicane. From there on, the Audi established a rhythm, lapping consistently in 3’31″ since the beginning of the race. The Peugeot is now more than twelve seconds behind. The positions further back remain unchanged. The fight is on.
LMP2 Zytek show the way
The Barazi-Epsilon team has swapped from their grid positions. The No.33 car now leads the No.32, with the Lola No.40 in third. Adrian Fernandez leads from Vergers and Hughes.
LM GT1 Aston Martin in the lead
Christophe Bouchut is holding on tightly to his lead in GT1. The Aston Martin No.008 is ahead of the Saleen No.55 and Aston Martin No.009.
LM GT2 Porsche dominates
The Germans of Stuttgart dictate the law at the one hour mark. The No.76 driven by Patrick Long leads the No.80 Flying Lizard of Van Overbeek. Ferrari complete the trio at the front of GT2 with the F430 GTC of Team Scuderia Ecosse driven by Tim Mullen.
