It looks like the Corvettes came to life during the race as Luca Ludwig, son of legend Klaus Ludwig, and Marc Hennerici took the first win in the ADAC GT Masters. The Argo Racing Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 looks to have had something go wrong, completing only 2 laps. This was unfortunate, as the Gallardo was running strong over these past few days and qualified second. Hopefully it will be on track tomorrow for Race 2.
Frank Schmickler and Tim Bergmeister in the Mühlner Motorsports Porsche 997 GT3 Cup S started from seven and moved up to take second overall. This split a Corvette 1-2.
Phoenix Racing was the only Audi R8 LMS to crack the Top 5. Team Rosberg came in 6th with Abt Sportsline following in 7th.
