I was looking in to a used S5, at about 54k with a few thousand miles, a new a5 3.2 fully loaded ends up in the 55k range. Thinking about it that way the S5 is a bargain. Thankfully I did some research on the S5 and found out about a problem that plagues the S5, wheel vibration. Audi knows about the problem and offers to rebalance your wheel several times. Next if that does not solve the problem they offer you Michelin tires, if that does not work they put in a service order to have the Dampers, Bushings, and some other parts.

As much as I love the Design at this time I would not risk the head ache that would come with owning this beautiful vehicle.
