Audi has achieved an impressive total of four first places in the ‘8th Internet Auto Award.’ In this, the biggest Internet users poll in the automotive industry, the Audi A3, A4, A6 and R8 models all came top of their classes and were awarded the ‘Carolina’ prize. Over 250,000 users took part in the poll on the online auto portal ‘AutoScout24.’
AutoScout24 conducted this poll to find Europe’s most popular cars for the eighth time. Once again, voting was carried out in several languages and countries, including France, Spain, Italy and the Benelux states. Voters could choose from a total of 331 cars in nine vehicle categories.
The Audi A3 finished top of the ‘compact class,’ as it did last year, while the Audi A4 called the tune in the ‘midsize class.’ The Audi A6 was the winner of the ‘upper midsize class’ and the Audi R8 topped the ‘sports cars and coupes’ category. The prizes were awarded yesterday evening at a gala event in Munich’s Kesselhaus.
