
Does the R8 LMS look good in every livery?
Audi youngster Oliver Jarvis made a strong impression on his debut around infamous Nürburgring-Nordschleife. The 25 year old Briton crossed the finish line third at the wheel of the Phoenix team’s Audi R8 LMS in the seventh round of the BFGoodrich Endurance Championship. Jarvis was, however, subsequently awarded a one-lap penalty due to overtaking under yellow flags. As a result the DTM driver and his team mates Nicki Thiim and Dennis Rostek dropped to eleventh position overall. The second Phoenix-R8 was involved in a collision during the opening stages of the race and finished 13 after a comeback drive through the field.
Nordschleife record for the Audi A3

VLN: Premiere in the BFGoodrich Endurance Championship: For the first time in the history of the race series’ a front-wheel drive car managed to break the nine-minute barrier. The new record holder is Christoph Breuer who drivers a the Audi A3 of the privateer team Raeder Automotive.
