Audi is further improving the efficiency of its models. Starting immediately, two new versions of the best-selling A4 that consume less fuel than ever are available in Germany. The sedan consumes just 4.4 liters of diesel per 100 km (53.46 US mpg) on average, with CO2 emissions of 115 grams per km (185.07 g/mile). These same figures for the A4 Avant are 4.6 liters (51.13 US mpg) and 120 grams (193.12). CO2 emissions have been reduced by four and nine grams, respectively, compared with the previous models. Leading in the field of active safety: “Euro NCAP Advanced” for Audi A4 with side assist
The most important European vehicle safety tester, “European New Car Assessment Programme” (Euro NCAP), has presented the Audi A4 with its coveted “Euro NCAP Advanced” award at the Paris Motor Show. Following the five star rating in the regular “Euro NCAP” crash test program, the Audi A4 has now been rewarded for its Audi side assist lane change assistant. This is one hot A4 we came across on Teamspeed.com It’s sporting a new Lusch grill, which looks great tying all the black together across the car. We’re not sure on the suspension but the stance really sets it off and the BBS aren’t to shabby either. We’d love to see a set of Black Edition Ch’s. Head over to Teamspeed.com for more pics.
This particular model, dubbed the Black Arrow, features gloss black 21-inch wheels and a coilover suspension. The company also offers 19- and 20-inch wheels, LED taillights, and several matt wraps (black, white, etc).
Power comes from a 2.7-liter TDI engine, which is outfitted with a stage 1 performance ECU. Thanks to the electronic wizardry, the engine produces 230 bhp and 358 lb-ft of torque instead of 190 bhp and 295 lb-ft of torque.
