The winner of the second Audi Cup tournament is FC Barcelona. In the final against FC Bayern Munich Thiago Alcantara scored twice in the sold out Allianz Arena to ensure the 2:0 final score. The premiere of the Audi Cup ended with a spectacular finale on Thursday night in Munich: FC Bayern München won with a score of 7:6 against Manchester United in the penalty shoot-out and thus clinched the 60-centimeter high Audi Cup for its extensive trophy collection in Munich. The match winner in the sold-out Allianz Arena was goal-keeper Michael Rensing, who saved the crucial penalty kick.
The soccer fans in Munich and in front of the TV sets can look forward to an absolute dream finale in the Audi Cup: On Thursday night at 8:45 pm (live on ZDF) FC Bayern Munchen will meet the team of Manchester United at the sold-out Allianz Arena. Prior to that game, Boca Juniors will play against AC Milan for third place.

The super stars are here: This morning, AC Milan arrived in Munich as the last of the four participants in the Audi Cup. Manchester United, Boca Juniors from Argentina and host FC Bayern München have already been in town since the beginning of the week. The press conference in the afternoon officially kicked off the summit meeting of the four World Cup winners.
