Online racers across North America can now experience firsthand the excitement of racing the Flying Lizard No. 45 and No. 80 Porsche 911 GT3 RSRs in Forza Motorsport 3, which launched this week exclusively on Xbox 360. After more than two years of development by Turn 10 Studios of Microsoft Game Studios, the game extends the experience of its franchise predecessors by taking the genre to new heights in terms of realism, physics, online competition, and user-generated content.
The Flying Lizard 2008 No. 45 Porsche of Joerg Bergmeister and Wolf Henzler won the 2008 American Le Mans Series GT2 championship; with four season race wins including the historic Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. The Flying Lizard 2007 No. 80 Porsche ‘Art Car’, which raced at the 2007 24 Heures du Mans with Joerg Bergmeister, Johannes van Overbeek and Seth Neiman, is reproduced in full detail with its intricate custom livery designed by Troy Lee. Forza Motorsport 3 hits retail outlets in Europe and Asia this week. The game will be available in North America on October 27.
