VLN: Class victory for Audi R8 LMS at 6-hour race

At the 6-hour race on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, the season’s highlight of the BFGoodrich Endurance Championship, Team Phoenix Racing won the GT3 class (SP9) with the Audi R8 LMS. Marc Basseng, Frank Biela, Frank Stippler and Hans-Joachim Stuck secured second place overall in the field of 188 cars.

Christopher Mies, René Rast and Dennis Rostek in the “sister car” had to start from the pit lane but recovered to fourth in the course of the 39 laps.
