Eight weeks prior to the season kick-off, the ITR board decided that DTM would get its own TV channel. At www.dtm.tv, viewers can enjoy a varied TV programme around the most popular international touring car series - from the season launch held in Düsseldorf. An online programme-journal provides the viewers with a content overview. The result: everybody will have the opportunity to watch exactly his DTM request programme - always and everywhere.

And the DTM.tv programme is a truly variegated one. The DTM Season Launch in Düsseldorf, for instance, is covered fully live and the same applies to the press conferences following the qualifying sessions and races. There will be background features about the drivers, historic races are accessible at any time and DTM.tv will also bring off-track features dealing with celebrities, stars, starlets and more.

“With DTM.tv, DTM now has got its own TV channel, thus representing the precursor for the entire motor-racing area,” says ITR e. V. Chairman Hans Werner Aufrecht regarding the new TV channel. “It’s one of the goals of DTM to also be in a leading position when it comes to innovations and with DTM.tv, we succeeded in doing so.”

DTM.tv will be produced by the Munich based production company ByLauterbach that has already been working for DTM in the area of film production for many years.
