PORSCHE WINS OVERALL, P1 and GT2 at the 12 Hours of Sebring!!! Incredible start to the season!
It has been 20 years since Porsche has won overall at the 12 Hours of Sebring! In 1988, it was Hand Stuck and Klaus Ludwig in their Porsche 962!

11:25hr Kristensen has moved into 3rd overall , 1 lap down. He’s running 1:46’s to the lead Porsche’s 1:49’s!
11hr: Wow, what a race we have going into the last hour of racing! LMP2 cars lead the overall standings in 1st - 4th place. Penske over Lowes over Dyson. Kristensen is on a move but with 45min left and 7sec off of third and about 1m 20sec off of 1st its going to be damn close!
Flying Lizards are still going 1-2. The other Risi is a good bit back in 3rd. Unfortunately the VICI Porsche had some problems and has moved down to 6th.
8:50hr We wanted to note something here about the overall standings: Porsche RS Spyders lead 1st - 3rd. Acura was 4th - 6th but Audi/Mc Nish just split that, three laps down.
8:16hr GT2 update - Flying Lizards #45 leads their #44 then VICI Racing follows in third. That keeps the Porsche GT3 RSR in a podium sweep still. The #46 Flying Lizard is still running as well as the Autoracing Club Bratislava Porsche after heavy incidents. The Farnbacher Loles Porsche has been out of the race due to the Risi Competizoine crash. Autoracing Club Bratislava Porsche is now out with gearbox issues.
8:09hr: Audi #1 is in and changing brake disc… 4 laps down now.
6:10hr: Problems for the #2 leading Audi! It is in and behind the wall! Werner was complaining of no power.
5:33hr: Melo has taken out his Risi Ferrari and now the Flying Lizards are 1st and 2nd with VICI Racing in 3rd! This puts the new Porsche GT3 RSR in a full podium sweep (right now)! In the process Melo did take out the Farnbacher Loles Porsche which was having a great day!
4:22hr: Peugeot is back out, 15 laps down now. This does not mean they are out as Turn 10 just claimed the Ford GT!
4hr: The Peugeot has pitted and then gone behind the wall!!
3hr: into the race and we’ve seen a ton of ups and downs in all classes!
Right now, the big news is that the Peugeot is in the pits with some hydraulic issues. The race is under yellow so they are getting a bit of benefit.
Peugeot has dominated from the start. They have shown incredible speed, great fuel economy and amazing tire stints. However, we know endurance racing is won on consistency not speed!
The Audi R8 was indestructible and the new R10 TDI is a bit shy of that as we saw last year. The Peugeot has shown failures in the past!

Audi is back in 1st-2nd and Peugeot is back in 10th now 3 laps down.
