Honestly, the winter season has flown by! It seems like yesterday we were climbing out of our tens at Petit Le Mans. Now, the 12 Hours of Sebring is in two weeks.
Our first series to kick off is the FIA World Touring Car Championship this weekend at Curitiba in Brazil. Today was the first day of testing. Local hero Augusto Farfus, in his BMW 320si, stomped his old course record.
Hot on his tail was the SEAT Sport drivers, Gabriele Tarquini, 2nd by 0.079 seconds and Rickard Rydell, 3rd with a gap of 0.223. Their team-mate Jordi Gené eventually slotted into 4th at the last minute, 0.241 behind the leader.
