DTM: Looking more and more like Lexus IS F Concept

Scratch all that c**p. Hold the press! We had this other post going..

So while we are typing our thoughts and reviewing images we came across these two in particular.. if you look below we ended our typing about AP Racing brakes…

First these are not photochopped. Yes we are damn good at photoshop, but these have only been blurred and highlighted!

While our hawk like eyes were scouring, we saw what looked to be the letters D-T-M… and yes this is on the race cars as well.

Next up, a clear DTM on the AP caliper!

The wheel/tire combo is pretty spot on as well (look in the linked photos). Dunlops on a O.Z. Dunlop is the exclusive manufacturer for the DTM.

Wheels - O.Z. aluminium forged wheels front: 10 x 18 inch, rear: 11 x 18 inch
Tyres - Dunlop SP Sport Maxx, front: 265/660-R18, rear: 280/660-R18

We’ve been matching the aero packages between all three and it’s screaming DTM and not ALMS.

A DTM car is a no-compromise touring car with the silhouette of a four-door production car designed specifically for motorsport and is constructed around a steel space frame. The bodywork is manufactured from composite plastic. The steel roof originates from the production line. Rear wheel drive is mandatory, and electronic driver aids such as ABS or traction control are forbidden.
