Well this time Winding Road is at it with some artist renderings. It’s actually a nice design with some nasty pieces like the hood. It does have some hints of “kit” to it. IMO, the ones we posted back in August were far better and looked like an actual Volkswagen design.

I like it A LOT better then the 2010 station wagon “new Beetle” design! I was very disappointed when I saw that, but this is pretty cool and different.
Yes, this render is the best so far. Subtle styling cues and the “New Beetle Ragster” concept making its way in.
However, the influence of the up! will have it change again.
What are the inside dimensions going to be for the driver? I’m tall and want the same amount of headroom as the old Beetle.
One would assume it would be close to current models.
I hope there keep the headroom the same i only just fit in my 2002 beetle. And would be a shame if can’t fit in the new 2010 beetle
HOPEFULLY that is not the finished product for the US market! If so- will grab one of the last of the ’09’s. May have to wait and see it in person.
I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT THE BEETLE FOR A LONG TIME. I ALMOST BOUGHT THE 2006 DIESEL, BUT WE NEEDED A SUV. SO MY VW BEETLE WAS PUT ON HOLD. ONE OF THE PLOBLEMS WAS WHEN I GOT BACK INTO THE BEETLE TIME FRAME AGAIN,THERE WAS NOT A DIESEL OFFERED.
I LIKE THE NEW DESIGN OF THE 2010 BEETLE, BUT IT NEEDS TO COME IN A CLEAN DIESEL MODEL. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE OUT THE DIESEL MODEL.
