Christian over at GermanCar Blog has some shots of the new S5 via motorpassion
I seriously love the new nose and hood. The eyes are much better in this angular/rectangle shape and the whole symmetrical face is wonderful. The smooth hood with subtle lines bring the eye down to this mean nose.
However, I still do not like the rear. You won’t most likely will not find me comparing or saying a brand (VW/Audi/Porsche) looks like another. However something just rubs me wrong about the rear of the new S5 and A5.. It’s just to BMW/Mercedes looking…
Then this one should not be what looks to be a blueish. To close to BMW’s images.
I love this image below. It really shows the Audi nose but best of all is a VW T5 in the background. 
Hot damn, that’s like a baby R8. I take it this is going to compete with the 6 series, M6 genre cars.
I’m not exactly sure, but I think A5 will be the 5 series competition and the S5 being the M competition.
