Local dubber/autox’r Andy Loscavio has posted some news/issue about our local SCCA events at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds. It seems that the resident’s are trying yo get the events removed due to sound. There is already a 94db sound level in place. Anotehr thng to note is that there are protestors that do not live even remotely close to the fairgrounds… >:(

As some of you may or may not know, Atlanta Region’s Solo2 program autocrosses @ Gwinnett County Fairgrounds for over 60% of it’s events.
Well, as of late, there’ve been legal actions from residents ( not the nearest, but local ) trying to remove us from contracting the lot for usage due to sound. Now, if you’ve ever attended an event at GCFG, you’d understand that we already have a 94dB sound warning in place, and you are removed from the premises if your vehicle exceeds this.
Please help out the local Solo2 program by signing ONE of the TWO petitions below to keep this site in usage.
