Breaking News: Uwe Huck fiercely condemns media rumors about a sale of Porsche

There was a lot of “chatter” surrounding this news and now Uwe Huck, Chairman of the Group’s works council voices his anger.

The Chairman of the Group Works Council of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG and deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Porsche Automobil Holding SE, Uwe Huck, is decisively refuting the rumors that Porsche AG is to be sold to Volkswagen AG and that Porsche is in financial difficulties. Huck: ‘I am angry that certain people in the media are disseminating topics without these ever having been discussed in the Porsche Supervisory Board or even decided upon.’ These people were fanning the fears of the employees in an irresponsible manner, he said.

Huck emphasized that Porsche continues to be a successful and healthy company despite the severity of the current economic crisis. ‘Porsche is profitable,’ said Huck, and the Chairman of the Group Works Council continued by stating that the ‘jobs in our company are safe.
